Still Fucked!

Things are getting better, but now I’m in the too exhausted to do anything as I recover from the bullshit phase! I did manage to look into Minimum Descriptive Length (MDL), which is a model selection principle that values as best those models which explain their data using less information. Effectively it approaches learning from a data compression standpoint. This is also seen as a mathematical definition of Occam’s Razor. So if MDL was mixed into logic somehow, then yes, Occam’s Razor would be a tautology.
